Marvel, in collaboration with publisher Webtoon, has announced a new comic series dedicated to the Eternals, the immortal superhero protagonists of the live-action adaptation directed by Chloé Zhao (read our review of The Eternals here). The series, titled Eternals: The 500 Year War, is being created by a team of international artists.
Eternals: The 500 Year War will be a seven-issue miniseries to be published on the Marvel Unlimited digital platform. Judging by the covers of the various issues (available in the gallery at the bottom of the article), The writers were largely inspired by the style of the Marvel Studios film for the character design of the characters.
The team of international writers who will create later Eternal: The 500 Years War consists of screenwriters Dan Abnett, Aki Yanagi, Jongmin Shin, Ju-Yeon Park, David Macho, Rafael Scavone and Yifan Jiang, flanked by artists Geoffo, Rickie Yagawa, Do Gyun Kim, Magda Price, Marcio Fiorito and Gunji.

This miniseries will score the first collaboration between Marvel and Webtoon, a publisher specializing in the digital market. Eternals: The 500 Year War is scheduled for release on January 20, 2022 on Marvel Unlimited. This is one of the initiatives proposed by Marvel to celebrate the release of the film The Eternals on Disney +.
