A lot of controversy erupted on social media after a tweet quickly went viral. Suto Emini, a Japanese YouTuber, defined people who use an anime picture as a profile picture as “toxic”. The community demands justice!

A post by Japanese “VTuber” Suto Emini made the rounds on social media. According to the influencer, who instead of one of his Picture profile uses that of an anime, it’s poisonous. In response to this statement, the community unleashed a real cyclone touching sociocultural issues.

According to some users who responded to the VTuber on Twitter, this statement could lead to Bullying situations and violence against otaku. On the other hand, it is not uncommon to see these types of phenomena in those who are passionate about something that does not belong to the crowd.

However, Emini Suto defended herself by countering that whoever has such a profile photo is very often a troll who likes to throw unjustified crimes and allegations. In response, the “feminist” VTuber manually blocked these issues one by one.

Not only that, Suto defined them Otaku community as one of the most poisonous. Just by criticizing an anime, one is inundated with slander and even death threats. That doesn’t even need to be specified, of course, there is nothing in common between these toxic topics and the passionate anime community. The animation industry was born as something that connects people and certainly doesn’t incite hatred.

What do you think of this sensitive topic? We leave you to the disappointment called Jump Victory Carnival 2021 and the extension of the state of emergency in Japan.
