The editor of Shonen Jump Shihei Lin he promised and today it’s finally official. Danadan, the horror / comedy manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, who depopulated Japan in recent months, has finally landed on MangaPlus, where the first 21 chapters are now available for free.

Dandadan made his debut in Japan in April 2021 and reached over a million hits on Jump + with the first two chapters. The work written and drawn by Yukinobu Tatsu quickly became a home-grown success, thanks in part to the publicity it received Tatsuki Fujimoto (Fire Punch, Chainsaw Man) e Yuji Kaku (Jigokuraku), former mentors of Tatsu, who warmly recommended the work.

Dandadan tells the story of two boys: Ken Takakura, a young occult fanatic who does not believe in ghosts, and Momo Ayase, a girl who does not believe in aliens. After their first meeting, the first is ghost-possessed and the second is captured by an alien. Salvi, the two will begin to work together to tackle a series of absurd events that are beyond human understanding.

All chapters of the manga are available on MangaPlus, only in English. The first three chapters are the length of a volume with an average of 60 pages each, while the others have the standard length of the weekly manga with 20/24 pages each. As always, MangaPlus publishes the new chapters in Simulrelease with Japan every Monday at 5:00 p.m.
