""On that occasion, the final sequence of the second season of the 7SEEDS anime was highlighted as being similar to that of an existing project. Based on the internal review after consultation with the manager, it was concluded that it is undeniable that both productions are similar. For this reason, at the discretion of the production company, we have decided to replace all of the closing sequences of this second season with new videos. In the words of the fans:Although the closing sequence is only ninety seconds, as always, everything that could be copied was copied. All the elements of Kyoukai no Kanata, including flowers, bubbles, multi-colored dots, sky and stars, are in the order of 7 SEEDS with minimal changesRegarding the instruction, the order was certainly changed on Netflix, which only shows still images as the closing sequence. The series also debuted on Japanese television on January 4th, although it was not stated whether the sequence was also changed on the terrestrial broadcast .

In the near future, a giant meteorite hit the earth. All living organisms, including humanity, have been wiped from the planet. The government, which anticipated this outcome, took steps to counter the worst case scenario.
