On the official page for the anime adaptation of the manga written by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao, 100 men no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru (I stand on a million lives), the cover and details of the compilation Blu-ray BOX package that includes both seasons (the first season had no compilation release).
The package is due to be released in Japan on September 29th and comprises a total of 24 episodes (twelve for each season produced). It will cost 24,800 yen (about 225) and benefits include coverage through Akinari Nao, an inner cover, a special booklet with illustrations, production material and two additional manga chapters. The press release also revealed the various illustrations that various distributors in the Japanese market claim will be provided for the purchase of the product in print in wallpaper format.
This second season has been on the air in Japan since July 2nd and will be confirmed with twelve episodes while the platform Crispy roll takes care of sales in the west. The first season for its part was broadcast during the fall season 2020 (October-December) and had a total of twelve episodes. Naoki Yamakawa and Akinari Nao started publishing the manga through the magazine Bessatsu Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha in July 2016.

- Kumiko habara (Puri Puri Chi-chan !!, Battle Spirits Burning Soul) was responsible for directing the anime in the studios Maho movie.
- Takao Yoshioka (High School DxD, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso, Konohana Kitan) was responsible for writing and overseeing the scripts.
- Eri Kojima and Toshihide-Masudate (Isekai wa smartphone to Tomo ni) was responsible for the character design.
- Satoshi Yano took care of the tone direction while Ken Ito composes the soundtrack.
Summary of 100-man no Inochi no Ue ni Ore wa Tatteiru
Yotsuya Yuusuke, along with his classmates Shindou Iu and Hakozaki Kusue, was kidnapped into a strange and unknown world inhabited by mythological creatures. As soon as they arrive, they meet someone who calls themselves a “Game Master” who then grants them a limited-time mission. To help them with this task, he also gives Shindou and Hakozaki the roles of a wizard and a warrior, while Yotsuya happens to get the role of a … farmer ?! Thus began a hectic adventure life for three students who now have no choice but to complete random missions for different phases of the fantasy world if they want to stay alive and protect the real world from the demons and monsters they encounter.
