Kimi after Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9: Iska

Iska faces Salinger alone because Rin was injured and in this situation hardly seemed to be conscious. Salinger is initially surprised by the imperial swordsman’s ability to break through his astral spirit, but has not shown his true power. Salinger unites two opposing astral spirits in perfect synchronicity and starts an attack that leaves Iska in a very bad position. But thanks to his swords, Iska manages to survive the attack. Approached Salinger and gradually cornered him.

In the meantime, Alice was responsible for the general situation in the prison tower. Order the prison guards to search for Salinger while the police officers are responsible for evacuating the area. She would deal with the fire, but is handicapped by Nameless, with whom she confronts again for a very short time before fleeing so as not to be entangled with the transcendent.

In the confrontation between Iska and Salinger, Alice arrives just in time to save Rin and leaves Iska to defeat the transcendent. With the promise that he and the unit N07 can release sovereignty. Reach his mission and say goodbye to the enemy nation to return to the Empire with his unit.

Wolf disguised as a sheep or sheep disguised as a wolf?

The central point of Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9 was without a doubt the confrontation between Salinger and Iska. However, I do believe that while they must be the protagonists of the episode, they have fallen far behind in the evolution I expected. Either by the same character or simply by his already known plot holes in the plot.

For example, why is Iska explaining to his enemy how his weapons work? I mean, he was faced with a ‘demon’ who by virtue of his power was able to wreak havoc on sovereignty by himself, and do you explain to him how you deal with him? If the dialogue in combat had been completely focused on the goal of both characters (the merging of spirits and people from Salinger and the search for peace from Iska) it would have been much better in my opinion Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9.

Even so, Salinger was the one who achieved the best result at the time. Mentioning some interesting points that I imagine are at the core of the character you were trying to demonstrate with isn’t exactly a villain. Due to his nature, Salinger has managed to learn more about astral spirits than most (if not all) characters haven’t mentioned a bit. The power they can have. A power the Empire feared at the beginning and may continue to do so. Just as it is power that other families are surely trying to take to the throne of sovereignty.

In addition, of course, the one who briefly mentioned his “goal” of merging humans and astral spirits. A goal that seemed more valid personally than Iska and Alice’s. Since both of them, while trying to end the war, have no firm idea of how to do it. While Salinger could end the war in his own way. Mind you, I’ll also admit that it reminded me a bit of the mentality of syndrome ((The unbelievable) To make everyone super great, and everyone to be great would no longer be something so “special”, to become everyday and normal and to lose part of its meaning.

Although Salinger’s character managed to get my attention to what he might add to the plot of Kimi to Boku no Saigo no SenjouWhen I saw its “end” I had a very bad taste in my mouth. Seriously, what kind of an ending was that? Is he alive or dead? Was he imprisoned again or was he losing track?

And that’s not all, it also showed exceptional fighting power, however, it was kept by a servant and only defeated by one of the protagonists. While this may speak for the power of Iska and Rin, I think this aspect has not been properly demonstrated in any of the characters mentioned, be it Iska, Rin, or Salinger himself.

Details from Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9

in the Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9 There were a few moments that I found interesting for the plot in general. Some give the opportunity to deepen it. For example the types of astral spirits. This although they have already shown that they generally deal with “elements” and can be repeated in different users. Was on Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9, when they gave more details about them, from which the same elements can subtract others to which they are not just “elements” due to the astral sound mind used by Salinger. Something I would have imagined if they hadn’t mentioned directly was an astral wind spirit.

Of course, they also mentioned the perfect balance that astral spirits can achieve. Become stable and unstable at the same time. Stable most of the time, but lose that stability when one outperforms the other. Create more dangerous attacks.

Outside the astral spirits and the characters with more notoriety in Kimi to Boku no Saigo no Senjou – Chapter 9, what caught my attention the most was Risya and Alice’s younger sister. The same one in which Iska was published previous episodes and so he was seen as a traitor in the empire.

For her part, Risya caught my attention because of the mystery that still surrounds the character. It still doesn’t show its true power and has multiple plot holes, but if they manage to blend in well with the parts of the character I think it will be one of the strongest in the series in general. Not only through violence, but also through influences, she finally had more “direct” encounters with the emperor himself.

For the next episode, I don’t expect very deep plot progress, as it seems to be a quieter chapter given some progress. With fan service, clichés and certainly more gaps in the plot. Although I won’t deny that I want to know more about Alice’s younger sister and how that will affect the protagonists in the future.
