On the official page for the manga by Naoki Yamakawa and illustrated by Akinari Nao, 100 men no Inochi no Ue ni Erz wa Tatteiru ((I like 1,000,000 lives) it was announced that the work has exceeded 1.6 million accumulated circulating copies.
Naoki Yamanaka and Akinari Nao started publishing the manga in the magazine Bessatsu Shonen magazine from the publisher Kodansha July 2016. The publisher released the tenth compilation volume on September 9th and will publish the eleventh in Japan on December 11th
The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Maho movie, Headed by Kumiko Habara and scripts from Takao Yoshioka, currently airing in Japan since October 2nd.
