Last Chapter: March 14th
The white day has come, Hamaguchi will propose to Houjou and tell Nishikata that it’s his big day too. Except he hasn’t realized what he’s feeling, but he’s arming it anyway Nishikata Quest, a series of tests for Takagi when he arrives at the school, only he doesn’t arrive and won’t arrive until the end of the schedule. He has to be in the library with Kimura, he reads the novel that Takagi didn’t recommend, and when he reads it at home, he realizes that the “I like you” wasn’t there, that maybe Takagi really has feelings for him would have. He gets ready, leaves the house, runs to the dock, finds her with the car but runs after her. Eventually, she notices a child and goes down the stairs, they both run after them and the “I wanted to see you” expresses the unspeakable. Takagi grasps his hands happily, with the bliss of the endless present.
chapter opinion
The day we didn’t want to come came, not because the ending was bad, but because from now on we’re intoxicated and don’t have our weekly soul cleanser. This last chapter seemed good to me and a good ending, with one of the best graphics of this anime, only I wasn’t satisfied. He really wanted an “I like you”, although he said “because I wanted to see you”, the effect is not the same. I feel like the “I like you” would have given more power to what’s going to happen in the film. But I think we’ll have to wait until the movie comes out to find out how this story is really going to end. It’s a temporary ending as there’s a good chance our brows (at least as a kid) will end with the film.
On the other hand, there is nothing to say about the soundtrack, everything is good, very good, it implements everything extremely well. I just thought I saw a slightly different design or drawing at one point early on, but nothing that would change or belittle the story.

If you do a lot…
…for a person the surest thing is that you like it. At least in child and adolescent logic, a boy rarely spends that much time with a girl with no other intention, especially when he is doing different things for her like guiding the class and concentrating so that he can lead her. Or give him a somewhat complex test that takes time to prepare (not just putting the boxes together, but thinking about the challenges and the locations). That makes someone feel special, I would even say that Nishikata has more points. Although we know that the child is in love with the forehead, he does not realize it and therefore we can say that there is more innocence and that it is interest that moves his actions.
I would say that the challenges are just an excuse to act and that victory is just his psychological trap. But personally, it seems to me that one person loves another more when their actions are selfless, so the relationship wouldn’t be based on what they did for you, but on the happiness of both. I seem to see this in Nishikata and in Takagi.

love is war
If yes. Even saying “I will make you like me” can be taken as a declaration of war. Although there are wars that can be lost without even having started, as happened to Hamaguchi who could not explain himself to Houjou. She knew it, but she still ends up smiling because she knows she’s attracted to him. “F” for Hamaguchi but I understand it’s complicated, it reminded me a lot of when I proposed to him, if I’m not wrong I was more or less his age. It’s scary, even as an adult it’s scary to explain, it’s not easy to say. I don’t blame Hamaguchi for that.
There are also wars that take time to start because the opponent is absent and this absence shows the importance of the presence of the one who is gone, nothing is the same even if you know you will be there the next day will see. A day can be a life.

Detect
He knew Kimura would be present or an integral part of the possible testimony. As with last season’s finale, Kimura is leading the way, just not the physical way to her, but the emotional one. This book, a book, can radically change a person’s attitude and perspective. I have to say that I like connecting things because in the end the present is a result of the past. Nishikata reads the book more carefully at home and realizes that the phrase “I like you” wasn’t written and thinks “Could this be how Takagi feels about me?”. At that moment I wanted to clap my hands and yell “You finally figured it out” but I was on public transport.
We are not fortune tellers to know what the other person may be feeling, no matter how obvious it may seem. It might seem like a hint, but maybe it really isn’t and he just likes to joke. Imagine declaring yourself a girl who sends you “indirectly” but rejects you because she tells you they were jokes and thought that’s how they could be joked. It might be embarrassing. But at least the Nishikata thing was more direct evidence, the sentence that isn’t in the book is the love token.

crying moment
When Nishikata began to flow, tears were already welling up in my eyes, as if to say do what I could not do. What was expected was that they would see each other, and it did, and while they saw it coming, it didn’t take away from the magic of the moment. Two teenagers just experiencing the world and love, two children who wanted to see each other at that moment (although one day they will be a product of consumption), two souls who want to be together. Although the sakura impermanent, they see the beauty in the present and there they are, loving each other innocently in the present.
What happens later is not so superficial, but they show greater security, a better understanding of the other and their feelings. As Arima would say, fall is coming soon, a fall you won’t be in, but for us summer will come, maybe the last summer we’ll find them again (or winter, depending on if that’s the case). film reached Latin America).
