chapter summary
There’s nothing better than one hand fan to get rid of the heat, Nishikata and Takagi know only the second one gets the poor boy blowing air on him, although the closeness they achieve relieves them both. Baseball is a popular sport, a lot of manga has come out and Nishikata is reading one, so he wants to copy it mysterious ball of the protagonist, only Takagi sees it and a new challenge occurs with the expected result. The three friends leave and see a captive cat, so they begin the operation cat rescue, only to later realize he wasn’t stuck. the rain it can be torrential and an umbrella always comes in handy, if you don’t have one you should wait for it to end or run home, Takagi forgot and Nishikata was smart to borrow one but he comes back halfway to get his “friend”, which is more important than your favorite series.
Chapter Opinion
A normal chapter, there were no such strange things at the beginning of the chapter. Still, I really enjoyed it, especially the last subchapter. In general there isn’t much to say about that end taken from the previous chapter. The other thing is that they seem to be related to certain things in the manga, the covers or things about them as adults. Something quite specific, between the first season and this one if I’m not mistaken it’s been a year (in their time) and if we’re meticulous I think we can tell there’s a subtle change in behavior between the two of them, Well I can’t imagine the season 1 nishikata doing what he did, even Takagi’s, which was annoying at first because it amused him and now he’s going beyond that. Without realizing it so much, there were subtle developments.
hand fan
I can only say something about this part, words are misleading, their meaning can encompass more than we understand. Nishikata understood that he should move the eraser by fanning it out, but not necessarily. Takagi fanned it and won because at no point did he say to use the wind. The cleansing forehead wins again and twice as this allowed him to get closer to Nishikata. How beautiful is love for children, isn’t it?
mysterious ball
Who doesn’t love baseball? I don’t, but Nishikata does. What he’s doing reminds me of what we certainly did as children, imitating something we saw. And of course their seeing us seemed embarrassing, typical of children, worse when it’s someone who annoyed us or whom we liked. It was two for one for our protagonist, his molester is the one he likes. The “weirdest” part of the chapter was the use of Nishikata’s imagination, which he takes to a competition in order to win. We know that Takagi wins and asks for the manga that he reads as “punishment”, which is related to something that we will see in the last part of the chapter.
I don’t know which chapter of the manga this part is but it reminded you of the manga where they are adults because that almost only happens on TV. Read it, there is no loss.
cat rescue
Yukari, Mina and Sanae find a kitten that is stuck, in the end it wasn’t and when the rain came it came out. There’s not much to say about this part, it’s a typical scene of the three friends where their personalities complement each other but at the same time are at odds. This is an interlude for what we will see at the end, which for me is the highlight.
rain
Sometimes I wish it rained like this in the area where I live, but no. In short what happened is that Nishikata gets an umbrella to go home, on the street he thinks if Takagi brought an umbrella and decides to return. Takagi is shocked, overjoyed and they leave together leaving a beautiful final picture. It is precisely this part that makes me say that Nishikata has grown up, that he is no longer the same as we saw in the first season, at least not in relation to Takagi, who gradually shows his feelings for her because he admits that COME TO ADMIT!! that he cared for her. And the connection I mentioned there is when Takagi tells him that he knows everything about him because he told him he was going to lose his series’ special. When you’re in love, it’s normal to want to get to know the other person more deeply, Takagi shows. It’s a nice thing to feel.
A normal chapter with a more than cleansing ending. If you have someone like that, please cherish them. What will become of the Master of Pranks?
