In recent months, the role of Spider-Man in the comics has been taken over by Ben Reilly after Peter Parker fell into a coma. Now though I’ve recovered Amazing Spider-Man #87 Preview reveals that Peter needs to get his Spider-Man uniform back, and for this he will be forced to train in a costume much appreciated by the fans.
Marvel Comics has announced that April will begin the relaunch of Amazing Spider-Man, which will restart from #1. In the meantime, however, Peter Parker has other concerns: due to the injury that has forced him to bed, it seems no longer be able to take on the role of Spider-Man.
In Amazing Spider-Man #87, Captain America and Black Cat will try to get Peter back in shape and force him to regain his classic outfit. To do it, Peter will have to return to play the (few) role of Bombastic Bagman: This is the “costume” worn in Amazing Spider-Man #258 after Reed Richards stripped Peter Parker of the symbiote. The peculiarity of the costume is given by the mask: simple a paper bag with two eye holes.
After its debut, Bombastic Bagman’s costume was revived a few times in the comics, but became famous through video games, which often appear under the alternate outfits for Spider-Man (all PS4 Spider-Man costumes here).
