Chapter opinion
I enjoyed half of the chapter. On its own, the Tsuruno part seemed like a good short film, of course the ending must have been different to be a self-closing story, but in the end it seemed very good to me for certain themes that it raises and that we do will see later. I would then put ten out of ten in this part, up to the part where Nemu appears, a seven out of ten and at the end a positive “I don’t know what to say” out of ten.
For a good part of the chapter, I thought the same thing that happened to Hideaki Anno has already happened Gainaxwho run out of budget and therefore use dialogue and stamps for words. Maybe yes, but I really doubt this franchise Madoka Magica. In itself there isn’t much to highlight other than the soundtrack that was heard when Madoka and Sayaka connected, it always touches my heart.
The unfortunate fortress of Tsuruno
We have already seen the problem that Tsuruno has, here I will not repeat what we know, but I will make a comparison with reality. Mistrust, disregard and their own thoughts drove them to something that we can all live: the (self-) claim to become better. Words like “you need to improve”, “I expected more of you”, “show that you can” can be words of encouragement and destruction at the same time, because every person’s implicit effort in what they do will not accepted. In the end, instead of helping, he suffocates.
We live in a society that is characterized by competition and in which “if you are not someone, you will achieve nothing”. In any case, they demand of us to be strong, they demand of us that we are strong, because only those who are good and strong are reliable and only they are taken into consideration. That may be true, but it can lead us to what Tsuruno felt, a profound disregard for our own efforts and the perception that we are not good at all. I liked that part of “It’s Okay To Be Weak” because besides, being strong doesn’t make you assure you’re okay, right, Yachiyo?
Redemption and go
First one major complaint that I think I understand why it was like that. Why were the fights, which must have been epic, so short !? The fight against Tsuruno is understandably short because it was a psychological fight, one could say. But what about mommies? I know we know her story, but I’m talking about the fight, only one attack from Sayaka was enough and that disappointed me because she was too powerful, the magic of the script?
In any case, both have been saved and both groups go different ways. On the one hand they return to Mitakihara, on the other hand they enter the remains of the wings and one is restricted by an entity we do not yet know about. What about Kuroe?
Theory or reality?
Arriving at the last part, where Iroha enters alone and meets Touka, she tries to attack her, but is prevented from doing so by Alicia Montalbán Smith (see this note, which our mothers may understand), no, but by Nemu. Upon entering the scene, he greets Iroha as “Sister Iroha” and says that everything is a lie and that he will show them the truth, and at the end a photo of the three appears. And the theory I’m throwing away is: She’s Iroha’s sister, and that makes sense, and the main clue is in the first chapter, after the credits.
This was chapter eight, interesting and disappointing, you know why. My condition is: waiting for the end with expectations.
