On the official page for the manga written and illustrated by Kenjirou hata, Tonikaku kawaii ((Fly me to the moon) unveiled the cover of the sixteenth compilation volume of the work, due to be released in Japan on June 17th. He has not yet listed a summary for this version.

Hata started publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan The publisher released the fourteenth compiled volume in December 2020, followed by the fifteenth on April 16 in Japan.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Seven arches, Headed by Hiroshi ikehata and scripts written by Kazuho Hyodo, published in October 2020. An OVA entitled Tonikaku Kawaii: SNS The premiere is planned for August 18th in Japan. The platform Crunchyroll sells the animation project in the west.

Tonikaku Kawaii Synopsis

Nasa Yuzaki is determined to put his name in the history books. If you come first on the national mock exam and aim for a reputable high school, you are sure that you have all your life planned. However, fate is a capricious lover. On the way home on a snowy night, Nasa's eyes fall on incomparable beauty across the street. Nasa magically tries to approach her, only to be surprised by an oncoming truck.

Fortunately, the girl's quick action saved his life. He is bleeding next to an ambulance and watches as the girl runs away in the moonlight, reminiscent of Princess Kaguya making her way to the moon. She refuses to end this chance encounter, forces her crippled body to stalk her, and interrogates her. Surprised by his ruthlessness and determination, the girl accepts his confession on one condition: they can only be together if he marries her!
