A well-known Japanese leaker reported that the manga was written and illustrated by Kenjirou hata, Tonikaku kawai (Fly me to the moon), will have "important announcements“In this year's fiftieth issue of the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday, scheduled for November 9th in Japan. The leak adds that the manga will be featured on the cover of this issue and will have color pages, but doesn't give any further clues as to what the ad might be about.

Hata started publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly Shonen Sunday from the publisher Shogakukan in February 2018. The publisher published the 16th anthology in July 2021, followed by the 17th on August 18th in Japan. The literary franchise already has more than 3.7 million accumulated copies in circulation.

The piece inspired a twelve-part anime adaptation produced by the studios. Seven arches, Headed by Hiroshi ikehata and scripts written by Kazuho hyodo, published in October 2020. An OVA entitled Tonikaku Kawaii: SNS It premiered direct in physical formats in Japan on August 18th. The platform Crispy roll sells the animation project in the west.
