In this year’s issue # 8 of the magazine Time Kirara Forward manga from the publisher Houbunsha it was revealed that the author Kinusa Shimotsuki (Tonari no Kashiwagi-san) will start the publication of a new manga titled Kimi to Kazoku ni Naru Made, in the next edition of the magazine on July 22.
Shimotsuki is also the author of the manga Tonari no Kashiwagi-san, which was published in Manga Time magazine Kirara Forward by the Houbunsha publisher between 2010 and August 2016. The publisher compiled the work in a total of twelve volumes.
Subsequently, Shimotsuki released the sequel titled Tonari no Kashiwagi-san After, in the same magazine in November 2018. The publisher published the second and last compilation volume on March 12.
Synopsis of Tonari no Kashiwagi-san
High school student Yuuto Sakuraba does not hide his otaku nature or the fact that he adores the moe drawings of an artist named Sayane. At school he sits next to Kotone Kashiwagi, the most beautiful girl at school who shows an unnatural dislike for the otaku culture. However, one day, Yuuto finds Kotone visiting the otaku shop he works at, and it turns out that she is also part of the community!
This casual encounter brings the two unlikely friends closer together, and Yuuto promises to keep the secret. But it also turns out that Kotone is actually the artist Sayane that Yuuto admires so much! You didn’t expect it, did you?
