In this year’s issue # 8 of the magazine Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh from the publisher Kadokawa, it was announced that the manga written and illustrated by Arata Yamaji, Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator, will come to an end in the next issue of the magazine, on July 27.

Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator

Yamaji started the publication of this spin-off manga in Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in 2013. The 11th compilation volume was published by Kadokawa publishing house on March 26.

The manga inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. J.C. Staff, under the direction of Nobuharu Kamanaka and scripts written by Kenji Yaegashi, released in July 2019.

Synopsis for Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator

Academy City espers are classified into six levels, “Level 0” espers are weak and lack power, but those belonging to “Level 5” possess great power and overwhelming ability.

Of the several million Espers residing in the city, only seven of them have reached level 5, and the highest of them is the well-known Accelerator, the protagonist of the story.

Accelerator has led a relatively quiet life until he is drawn into a new conflict because of the plans of the sinister Disciplinary Action organization that plans to use Last Order for a dangerous mission. So now that their plan has been put in place, the security of Last Order and Academy City will depend on the most powerful Espera in the world.
