Azu started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly Young Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in February 2016, and the publisher published the sixth compilation volume in September 2019.

The work inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Liden Films, under the direction of Fumiaki Usui and scripts written by Rintarou Ikeda, released in July 2019. Additionally, a spin-off manga titled Isekai Senpai - Tepa Senpai wa Kono Sekai de mo Ponkotsu na You Desu It has been published since November 2019.
