On the subscription manga website Rent! publication of a manga adaptation by the author began Rokurou Ogaki, from the original anime of Studio Pierrot, Akudama Drive.
The serialization of this manga began with the publication of two simultaneous chapters, however, from now on a new chapter will be published monthly. Ogaki previously published the manga Hourousha, in June 2015; and the manga adaptation of The Unlimited: Hyoubu Kyousuke, between March 2013 and May 2015.
Furthermore, the original anime Akudama Drive is slated to premiere in October this year, having been delayed from its original date in July due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on production.

Akudama Drive Synopsis
In this story, long ago the Kanto and Kansei regions had a war that divided the world. But at the end of the war, Kansei lost and swore allegiance to Kanto.
