Yamashita began publishing the manga through the service Cycomi from the publisher Cygames in May 2016. The publisher published the sixth compiled volume in Japan in November 2018, followed by reprints which were published as a "New Edition", all simultaneously on April 30, 2020.
The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Gokumi, Headed by Hiroshi ikehata and scripts from Shigeru Murakoshi, published in January 2020. The platform Crunchyroll took care of its worldwide distribution.
Synopsis of To die! Seton Gakuen
The Seton Academy is a place where a wide variety of interesting and diverse animal species participate. Jin Mazama is one of the few people there who also hates animals from the bottom of his heart! One day he meets a loud and self-confident girl named Ranka Ookami, a little "lonely wolf" without a pack, who has no boyfriend.
Desperate Ranka tries to invite Jin to join her pack. but Jin, who hates animals, of course refuses. In the midst of this situation, Jin meets Hitomi Hino, a human companion, and quickly falls in love with her. After the meeting, the two decide to open a cooking club, and after several misunderstandings, Ranka soon joins the club as well. Thus begins a wild tale that teaches that creatures of different species can befriend.
