After the third chapter of Nekodamashi-hen, the fourth storyline from the studios’ original anime passion, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Gou (Higurashi: When they cry), in the manga adaptation of Tomato acase, it was announced that the adaptation will take a different path than shown in the original series. The manga will change its name to Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Jun and will start publishing next October (actually just continuing the original serialization pace). In fact, the last chapter of the Nekodamashi-hen ends with a story change in which Rika discovers that Satoko is the reason for the reboots while Satoko is unaware that Rika is keeping her memories, which begins a strategy game between the two.

Tomato acase the manga adaptation began to be published via the digital service Young ace up As of October 2nd and to this day, it had faithfully reproduced the events of anime history. The editorial office Kadokawa released the third compilation volume on July 2nd and will release the fourth on November 2nd in Japan.
