The work inspired an anime adaptation with twelve episodes, which was produced by Geno Studio Directed by Hitoshi Nanba and scripts from Noboru Takagi, released in April 2018. A second season with twelve episodes premiered in October 2018, and the production of a third season is confirmed for its premiere in October this year.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the Russian-Japanese war veteran Saichi Sugimoto, nicknamed "The Immortal", took part in the "gold rush" of the post-war period. It turns out that part of a map has been found that could lead you to the mythical gold fortune of the Ainu tribe that has long been hidden, and you start your search.

But of course Sugimoto isn't the only one looking for such a treasure! And they would kill everyone for clues that lead to it! Faced with the harsh conditions of cold weather, ruthless criminals and corrupt Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto, with the help of a girl from the Ainu tribe named Asirpa, has to use all his skills and luck to survive.
