The author and illustrator of the manga series is via his Twitter account Yuru Yuri, Namoripublished an illustration with the character Tooru from the manga, written and illustrated by Cool-Kyou Shinja, Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon.

For his part, Namori began the Yuru Yuri manga and publishing process in 2008 Ichijinsha released the eighteenth compiled volume on May 18. The work has inspired three anime adaptations, several OVAs, and other spin-offs.

Cool-kyou Shinja publishes Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon Manga in a magazine Monthly promotion from the publisher Futabasha since May 2013, and the publisher released the ninth compiled volume in November 2019.
