The author of We Never Learn responded to the hiatus from Jujutsu Kaisen

A few hours ago, the manga’s official Twitter account was opened by Jujutsu Kaisen confirmed that the author Gege Akutami, pauses serialization due to deterioration in your health. The author of Bokutachi wa Benkyou ga Dekinai (We never learn), Taishi-tsutsui shared the post and simply wrote: «But what a surprise … Akutami-sensei, please take care of your health!».

On the other hand, Gege Akutami began publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2018. The piece inspired an anime adaptation that was released during the Fall 2021 season (October-December) and ended with a total of 24 episodes produced by the studios. Jujutsu Kaisen Summary

The high school student Yuuji Itadori, who idly pursues paranormal activities with the Occult Club, spends his days in the club room or in the hospital, where he visits his bedridden grandfather. However, this leisurely lifestyle soon becomes bizarre when he unknowingly comes across a cursed object. Yuuji triggers a chain of supernatural events and is suddenly thrust into the world of curses, terrible beings formed from human malice and negativity after swallowing the object that appears to be the finger of the demon Sukuna Ryoumen, the “king of” turns out to be curses ”.

Yuuji experiences firsthand the threat these curses pose to society as he discovers his own newly acquired powers. Presented at the Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College of Magic, he begins to walk a path he cannot return from: the path of a jujutsu wizard.
