Synopsis of Maken-Ki!

Takeru Ooyama, a normal but perverted young man, was accepted and is now attending a school that used combat and magic without his knowledge. On the first day, after three years, he meets again as Amaya Haruko, his childhood friend; Kushiya Inaho, a girl who claims to be his fiancΓ©e; and Himegami Kodama, a blonde who wants to murder him.

When he learns that there are a lot of girls there who just don't like him, he is told that all of the people there use a magical ability through an object or weapon known as a "Maken". He later discovers that he is not suitable for any of these tools and does not know what to do as there are usually duels in this school where the students demonstrate their magic and combat ability, which is what he lacks.
