In the eighth edition of 2021 of the magazine Weekly young magazine from the publisher Kodansha, published January 18 in Japan, was revealed that the manga was written and illustrated by Azu, Tejina Senpai ((Magical senpai) will come to an end in two chapters.

The author had previously confirmed via his Twitter account that the work would end with the publication of his eighth compilation volume, although he had not set an end date for the serialization. Azu began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly young magazine from the publisher Kodansha in February 2016 the publisher published the seventh compiled volume in Japan in July 2020.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. EYE FILMS, Headed by Fumiaki Usui and scripts from Rintarou Ikeda, published in July 2019. Additionally a spin-off manga with the title Isekai Senpai - Tejina Senpai and Kono Sekai de mo Ponkotsu na You Desu has been published since November 2019.

Synopsis by Tejina Senpai

I found her ... a beautiful but rare senpai! Magical lover but scared on stage, this senpai had a 100% failure rate but you can't ignore its beauty! This is how our protagonist discovers that his school is forcing him to join a club and, during his reluctant search, finds Tejina-senpai trying to perform magic tricks in his classroom. However, her stage fright and the fact that she will now have an audience will turn her attempts into a never-ending comic strip plot.
