The manga is Takopi no Genzaiwhich has now also debuted on MangaPlus.

It was first published on February 24, 2022 with the first three chapters, allowing Western readers to delve into the story of Takopi and Shizuka very quickly. but what Takopi’s original sin is about? Nnu-anu-kf is an alien from Planet of Fortune, a distant planet whose mother is tasked with traveling the universe and bringing good luck. The alien then sets sail with his lucky ship and brings many happy gadgets with him. However, when it arrives on Earth, it is hunted down and nearly captured, causing it to go into hiding. But he meets Shizuka, a little girl who gives him food and visits him every day. Because of its shape, the alien is renamed takopi, derived from octopus plus the suffix -pi, which the alien always inserts at the end of sentences. Takopi decides to make the girl happy, but she soon discovers that things aren’t always easy for humans: Shizuka is a bullied girl and will have trouble smiling.
With plot twists from the first chapter, Takopi’s Original Sin has received high praise in Japan. The manga will be a short series and will end in two total volumes. Later, on Shonen Jump +, the second part of Chainsaw Man will also debut.
