With the arrival of the fifth animated season of My hero academiaThe audience was finally able to reunite with Class 1-A of UA High School, which is currently training together with Class 1-B. The third episode, however, is at the center of a small debate.

The third episode of My Hero Academia 5 is based on the Chapter 194 of the mangaThat is, at the moment of Bakugo’s entry into the battlefield. However, readers of Kohei Horikoshi’s works have noticed a slight difference between the printed and animated versions.

In the manga, when Bakugo arrives at the joint training location, Deku pays him a compliment new look. Bakugo obviously reacts badly to the praise of his rival.

As you can see in the tweet at the end of the article highlighting the scene in question, Deku notes that the Bakugo winter costume it protects it from the cold by generating heat. An ingenious modification that helps the budding hero to fight in situations that are unfavorable for his peculiarity. But instead of thanking him for the recognition, Bakugo scolds his partner as always.

As the readers who pointed out on social media noticed, this scene is completely absent in the animated version. While the conversation isn’t critical to training, nor does it particularly deepen the relationship between the two, it was particularly ironic and fans expected it to be adapted in the anime.

Why do you think it was shortened? And were you aware of this shortcoming? Meanwhile, an important return has surprised Deku and his companions in My Hero Academia 5. We see All Might take its first heroic steps in My Hero Academia 5.
