On the official page for the manga by Masamune Shirow and illustrated by Koushi Rikudou, Koukaku not a PandoraThe cover of the nineteenth compilation volume, due to be released in Japan on November 10th, was unveiled.

Shirow and Rikudou started publishing the manga in the magazine Newtype Ace from the publisher Kadokawa in October 2012 and made it into the magazine Comic Newtype In September 2013, the publisher published the 18th compiled volume on July 10 in Japan.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by Studio Gokumi in collaboration with studios AXsiZ, Headed by Munenori Nawa and scripts written by Tatsuya Takahashi, published January 2016.

Synopsis of Koukaku no Pandora

On board a cruise ship on the way to the picturesque island of Cenancle, cyborg Nene Nanakorobi, a young woman who dreams of world peace, meets the inventor Uzal Delilah. The two quickly become friends, along with Uzal's cyborg pet Clarion. Soon after saying goodbye, a terrorist attack on the island threatens to destroy their friendship. In order to save her new friend, Uzal gives Nene the opportunity to use the Pandora device from Clarion's body before she appears to die. With this power, Nene can temporarily master skills never seen before, even in this advanced world.
