In the second fan book of the multimedia franchise based on the manga by Kimetsu no yaiba, Koyoharu Gotouge announced that he plans to write a science fiction story with romantic comedy as his next project. Gotouge also noted that he had recently re-watched old science fiction films about aliens and that it was interesting to see how his view of them had changed from childhood to adulthood. Gotouge commented that he wanted to make a romantic science fiction comedy Β«that even brings you a pack of 8 on your stomachΒ».

It should be noted that this fanbook also includes three new one-shots of the franchise as well as more previously released ones. One of the three new chapters will tell a story after the end of the work, while the other two will tell parallel stories or the author himself. This book was published by the publisher in Japan on February 4th Shueisha.

Synopsis of Kimetsu no Yaiba

However, his life changes when one day when he returns home after a night out, he discovers that his family has been killed by a demon. Tanjirou and her sister Nezuko are the only survivors now, but she has been turned into a demon, though surprisingly she still shows emotion and appears to have a sense of reason. After meeting Giyuu Tomioka, a demon hunter; Tanjirou He decides to become a demon hunter in order to hunt down his family's killer and find a way to get Nezuko back to normal.
