The twenty-third and final compilation volume of the manga was written and illustrated by in Japan on December 4th Koyoharu Gotouge, Kimetsu no yaiba. To commemorate the evening version of the newspapers of December 3rd Asahi Shimbun, Yomiuri Shimbun, Mainichi Shimbun, Nihon Keizai Shimbun Y. Sankei ShimbunJapan’s Top 5, a huge billboard was released at launch.
The poster contains a few words from the leader of the demon hunters, Ubuyashiki Kagaya: βI know something about forever. It is nothing more than human thought. The thoughts last for all eternity. You are indestructible“. The large poster ends with a sentence in the background that says:”Everything ends and everything starts all over again. The last volume will finally be released“.
However, in the December 4 issues of the same newspapers, 15 promotional posters were distributed for the launch of the latest compilation volume, which featured various characters from the franchise.

For his part, Koyoharu Gotouge began to publish the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in February 2016 and finalized in May 2020. The publisher released the twenty-second compilation volume on October 2nd and will publish the twenty-third and final volume on December 4th. The work recently reached 120 million copies in circulation.
The manga inspired a 26-part anime adaptation by the studios. Ufotable, Headed by Haruo Sotozaki and scripts written by the studios themselves and released in April 2019. Later a film called Kimetsu no Yaiba: Mugen Ressha henwas released in Japanese theaters on October 16.
Synopsis of Kimetsu no Yaiba
In the Taisho era in Japan, Tanjirou Kamado is a kind and intelligent boy who lives in the mountains with his family. Tanjirou became the head of his family after the death of his father and makes constant trips to the village at the foot of the mountain to sell firewood and charcoal.
However, his life changes when he returns home one day after a night out and finds that his family has been killed by a demon. Tanjirou and her sister Nezuko are the only survivors now, but she has been turned into a demon, though surprisingly she still shows emotion and appears to have a sense of reason. After meeting Giyuu Tomioka, a demon hunter; Tanjirou He decides to become a demon hunter in order to hunt down his family’s killer and find a way to get Nezuko back to normal.
