Chapter 138 of the manga written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisen, was originally supposed to be published in this year’s 10th issue of the magazine Weekly shonen jumpHowever, it will not be so on February 8th. A leak in the next issue confirmed that the manga was on pause for a week due to the author’s sudden loss of health, and editors have assured that it will resume in the next issue of the magazine on February 15.

Akutami started publishing the manga in the magazine Weekly shonen jump from the publisher Shueisha in March 2018. The publisher released the thirteenth compiled volume on October 13, followed by the fourteenth on January 4 in Japan. The work recently reached a circulation of 25 million copies.
