Just two weeks after the literary franchise based on the manga, written and illustrated by Gege Akutami, Jujutsu Kaisenannounced that more than 20 million copies were in circulation. The official Twitter account of the franchise has now announced that there are more than 25 million copies in circulation (including physical and digital copies). «[Celebración] Thank you for your continued support of Jujutsu Kaisen. The number of accumulated copies in circulation has exceeded 25 million! The fifteenth compilation volume (including the digital version) will be released on March 4th. Thanks again for your support!'Wrote the account.

Jujutsu Kaisen rose from 8.5 million copies in October 2020 to 25 million (unsold, but also digital). That means the series has increased 294% since the premiere of its animated adaptation.
