A few hours ago the last chapter of Jigokuraku – Hell’s Paradise, the famous dark fantasy manga by Yuji Kaku that was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump. The author has published the color page on his social profile that was created to celebrate the completion of the work, thereby confirming the production of the anime adaptation discussed.

“”An anime adaptation!“commented the mangaka,”I am so happy but I still can’t believe it and everything feels like a dream. To the production team, thank you and leave my characters in your hands. If this is a dream please don’t wake me up!“. At the moment, no information has been shared about the cartoonand we will probably have to wait until the second half of the year before we get details.

Keep this in mind if you are unfamiliar with the job Jigokuraku – Hell’s Paradise tells the deeds of the powerful ninja Gabimaru, who was arrested and sentenced to death after being betrayed by his companions. While he is waiting for the executioner, the executioner Asaemon appears before him and gives him a second chance: to venture into a magical land and find the elixir that can guarantee eternal life. Motivated by the opportunity to return to his wife, Gabimaru is on his way.

Yuji Kaku started serialization in January 2018 and the manga ended after exactly three years with 127 published chapters and 13 volumes. In Italy the work is distributed by J-Pop Manga, who has currently distributed the first 8 volumes.
