In this year's twelfth issue of the magazine Young champion Retsu from the publisher Akita ShotenIt has been announced that the manga will be written and illustrated by Yasuyuki Kosaka, Houkago Teibou Nisshi, will pause indefinitely from the next issue in December. The date of the resumption will be announced shortly.

The manga had already paused in July of this year due to heavy rains in the southern part of the Kyushu region where the author lives, which however resumed shortly afterwards. For his part, Kosaka began publishing the manga in the magazine Young champion Retsu from the publisher Akita Shoten The publisher published the sixth compilation volume on March 19th and will publish the seventh on December 18th.

The piece inspired a twelve-episode anime adaptation produced by the studios. Doga Kobo, Headed by Takaharu ookuma and scripts from Fumihiko Shimo, published in April 2020.

Synopsis by Houkago Teibou Nisshi

Hina Tsurugi is a seaside high school freshman who feels inferior to others. As she walks along the dam, she meets a senpai named Kuroiwa, who invites her to join the “Teibou” club and start fishing. How will Hina's new high school life be surrounded by eccentric members?
