Dead Tube Synopsis
Tomohiro Machiya is a member of the Recording Club of his school. One day, the beautiful girl Mai Mashiro asks him to record it. After Tomohiro records her swimming, she again asks him to record her for the next two days, which he agrees to.
Everything seems normal until Mashiro murders her “boyfriend”, who was a former abuser and criminal, all while Tomohiro continued recording. He then discovers that Mashiro uploads videos to a network called “Dead Tube”, where users upload content and get money according to the visits they get. Users are encouraged to upload videos, but there is a catch: the person or people whose video gets few visits will have to pay for the crimes of all the participants. As Tomohiro begins to dig deeper and deeper into Dead Tube, he will begin to question his ambiguous relationship with Mai and the mysterious desire to kill that he didn’t know he possessed.
