Published in Weekly Shonen Jump from 1981 to 1985, cat eyes by Tsukasa Hojo has become one of the most iconic works of the 80's and one of the best-selling manga of all time. From radio adaptations to the Tokyo Movie Shinsha anime, the story of the Kisugi sisters returns in a live-action series made in France.

The commitment for such a project came from a Report published in the French newspaper Le Parisienwhere it is stated that the live-action series in question is produced by Télévision Française 1, one of the Hexagon's most popular general interest broadcasters, who entrusted implementation Big Band Historyan independent and young studio founded in 2015. The report also points out that neither filming nor casting has started and therefore the series could arrive in autumn 2024 at the earliest.

According to the publication in the newspaper, TF1 would consider airing the episodes that make up the series in prime time and could aim to do so distribute them internationally. At this time, however, no confirmation regarding the project has come from the broadcaster and the network to which it belongs. An understandable decision given the long production times expected for such an ambitious project.
