The most tragic events struck the anime Boruto: Naruto the next generations. At the end of the battle between the Konoha ninja and the Otsutsuki, the Seventh Hokage had to say goodbye to his closest friend, a real brother with whom he shared his whole life. Here is this touching scene compared to the manga version.
Boruto Episode 218 closes the game with Isshiki. Convinced that he has finally triumphed after the knockout Naruto Baryon mode and Sasuke Uchiha, the Otsutsuki, already suspects the conquest of his ship. However, Kawaki led him to his death with great cunning.
Isshiki died from the effects of the Seventh Hokage’s baryon mode and was unable to Karma in kawaki. In his final moments, however, he sees the karma suddenly disappearing from the body of his vessel. The one on whom the mark was implanted was none other than a Kage Bunshin, a simple copy. Crushed to dust, Isshiki was eventually defeated.
At this point, however, Boruto loses control of his body in favor of Momoshiki, who promptly stabs Sasuke in the eye of the Rinnegans. Also here, to solve the situation, is Kawaki, who with a genius allows his “brother” to regain a piece of chakra.
After the fighting ends, Naruto passes out. Aware of having died from baryon mode, the Hokage maintains a profound one talk to Kurama, the bijuu that has accompanied him since he was born. The nine-tailed fox, however, mockingly reveals that it is not Naruto who is dead, but himself. One last, sad fist sanctions themGoodbye between Naruto and Kurama.
Boruto episode 218 has adapted the end of chapter 53, the entire chapter 54 and eleven pages of chapter 55 brilliantly. As indicated by some Twitter users, the final goodbye between the Hokage and the Fox was even more exciting than in the manga. The script, the artistic direction, the direction, the background music, some language changes between the two and the special closing theme actually contributed to the tragic character of this scene.
And which parting hurt you the most? The one from the manga or the latest from the anime? Finally, we leave you with the Boruto 219 preview.
It wasn’t an adaptation, it made the original source 1000x better
Death scenes (script, art, and direction) were thousands of miles better along the characters’ general facial expressions throughout the ep
Just shown how much manga is missing in comparison– Yuato (ζΉ― δΊΊ) π΅πΈ (@tareqKouchi) October 3, 2021
The whole script was different from the shudder that you killed my mother and father
Biju beasts that watched his death get hit so hard and a great addition to be a must in the first place
How he screamed and how they showed more scenes as Kurama’s dying character, none of that was in the manga– Yuato (ζΉ― δΊΊ) π΅πΈ (@tareqKouchi) October 3, 2021
