Eventually, thanks to Amado’s intervention, the public learned the truth about Jigen’s terrible origins and about the Karma Seal, the brand that is causing so many problems in Kawaki and Boruto. Let’s shed light on these two sensational realities and compare the anime adaptation of Boruto with the Manga counterpart.
Arrived in Konoha to seek asylum, the Kara Organization scientist reveals valuable information about his former leader to the Seventh Hokage and his advisors. Apparently, Jigen was once a simple monk and what everyone knows today is actually a simple empty shell, the current vessel of Isshiki Otsutsuki. Betrayed and fatally wounded by Princess Kaguya, Isshiki decided at the end of his life to shrink himself and take possession of Jigen’s body, only afterwards using karma. But now he’s looking for a new guest, Kawaki.
The karma seal actually appears to be some kind of chip which contains all the data about the life and skills of a particular Otsutsuki. Applied to a person’s body, this seal initiates a kind of slow but gradual download that in the end brings back to life the heavenly being that generated the mark. Both Kawaki and Boruto therefore take a huge risk: anytime they could transform in Isshiki or Momoshiki.
But how do you kill an Otsutsuki? Apparently only Koji Kashin knows the answer to this question, its inextinguishable flames they seem about to end Jigen’s reign of terror.
Boruto Episode 213 faithfully adapts theentire chapter 46 of the manga, entitled “True Identity”. We remind you that the work of Kishimoto and Ikemoto on MangaPlus has reached chapter 61. Therefore, it won’t be long before the next spectacular duel has the manga readers dreaming so much. We leave you with the first pictures of Boruto 214.
