After the challenge with Volkner, the gym leader he faced over ten years ago, Ash returns to Johto. Accompanied by Go and Chloe, his new travel company, he gets to know one enigmatic looking girl.
Under the title “The Sun and the Moon; Chloe and Haruhi, “episode 79 of Pokémon Explorations sees Ash, Go, and Chloe visit the Castle of Darkness in the Johto region. The trio is looking for you Espeon and an umbreon, the two “eeveelutions” of Silver and Gold. However, there they meet a girl named Haruhi, who is identical to Chloe. Haruhi tells them that the new mistress of the castle has been appointed and that she has been tasked with organizing a festival to be held there. As the preparations for the festival proceed, a seedy-looking boy carefully watches the castle.
What is the secret surrounding the castle and Haruhi, Chloe’s doppelganger? And why is someone observing the protagonists from afar? The script of the episode is entrusted to Aya Matsui and the animations to the director Makoto Shinjo.
