Volume 34 of The Attack of the Giants will close the series in Tankobon format, but Hajime Isayama's work is practically finished by early March. It has been almost a month since chapter 139 of the manga was published in Bessatsu Shonen Magazine. This has caused many writers to say goodbye to the popular series for good.

Over the past month, many colleagues at Isayama have complimented him on the long publication, which lasted 11 years and 7 months. The authors obviously come not only from Kodansha Verlag, but also from rivals. Even the mangaka Yukiko Nozawa actually paid homage to the attack of the giants with a drawing.
