After a great start, the original Wonder Egg Priority anime ended his broadcast because it couldn’t be worse, between production problems, unanswered questions and a long season finale that failed to convince fans. After the flop of The Promised Neverland 2, Studio CloverWorks was again showered with criticism.
For those unfamiliar with the work, keep in mind that Wonder Egg Priority is an original anime written by Shinji Nojima and produced by CloverWorks. distributed from January 13 to March 31, 2021 over 12 episodes. Shortly after graduation, however, it emerged that the anime suffered a significant cut because of Aniplex’s absurd demands that apparently forced the CloverWorks animators to work in a rush and under unacceptable conditions. In March, the distributor gave the studio the green light to produce one final episode.
Wonder Egg Priority episode 13 aired on June 29th and should last about an hour, but in reality the first twenty-five minutes were used for a summary. The rest of the episode was cut for various reasons, from the fluctuating animations, the inconsistent story and the many open points. Sum up Critics and the audience rated the season finale extremely negatively, and as you can see below, many fans have expressed their disappointment on social networks.
A really unexpected ending to an anime that had managed to grab the attention of hundreds of thousands of viewers even in the West. Despite the low ratings of the last episode, however Wonder Egg Priority remains a well-made anime, albeit undeniably incomplete.
Wonder Egg Priority Finale sucked
I’m pissed off. The 26 minute recap of the 46 minute finale would have been acceptable if they had literally given us EVERYTHING in the last 20
You could try preparing for season 2, but you lost me

Wonder Egg Priority started as a bang and ended as a disappointment; What the hell happened to the ending? There’s no way this episode is the finale because it answered absolutely nothing. Can you name a more pointless ending than that of AOT, then that could be it. pic.twitter.com/QEL0NKjvzj

really funny how the miracle priority started so well on all fronts and ended so very, very, very, very badly

The end of the Wonder Egg Priority was so bad
I feel like I wasted my time looking at this and thinking this was going to be special and I’m just disappointed with how this anime turned out– asusabaa (@ asusabaa1) June 30, 2021
I gassed Wonder Egg Priority every week and it was one of my favorite shows that I’ve seen in a long time, but man, that particular episode was really bad. Hardly a storyline was solved in the course of the show after so much fantastic construction.

Wonder Egg Priority was such a special series that it is really sad to see her get fucked by bad business practices
With enough time, funding, and more aftermath, this could have been one of the greats of all time
But it unfortunately turned out to be a narrative mess and subpar show– Kyh🌸 (@kyh_uwu) June 29, 2021
