The author Aki Shimizu It was announced through his Twitter account that he will be releasing a new manga entitled Inugami Re This autumn. Indeed the platform Amazon has already listed the first compiled volume of the manga for October 20th in Japan, describing it as based on the manga written and illustrated by Masaya Hokazono, Inugami.
Hokazono published the original manga in the magazine afternoon from the publisher Kodansha between 1996 and 2002 a total of 14 compilation volumes were published. Subsequently, the author released a new version of the manga with changes entitled Inugami Kaiwhich he put together in ten volumes.
Inugami Kai Synopsis
The story tells of the relationship between a boy and a dog, but not in the way one might think. The difference is that the dog named Inugami is self-aware and aware of its past, so its healing skills develop quickly and large blades sprout from its back. Surrounded by people who yearn to capture and use their powers for their own benefit, he asks whether it is worth preserving such a hideous species. At least he thought, until he comes across Fumiki, a boy who lives in an abandoned building and becomes his first friend.
