A renowned Japanese leaker confirmed that the manga was written and illustrated by Hiroyuki, Kanojo mo Kanojo, will have an anime adaptation that will be released in 2021. The information is confirmed in the 51st issue of the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha, to be released on November 18th in Japan.

For his part, Hiroyuki began publishing the manga through the magazine Weekly Shonen Magazine from the publisher Kodansha in March 2020. The publisher published the first volume on June 17th and the second volume on September 17th.

Hiroyuki is also the author of Manga like Aho girl, Doujin work Y. Mangaka-san to Assistant-san toowho have inspired anime adaptations so far. Two commercials were previously released to promote the work done by the female voice actors Ayane Sakura Y. Ayana Taketatsuso that they can take part in this animated adaptation.

Synopsis of Kanojo mo Kanojo

After harboring an unrequited love for several years, Naoya Mukai finally gets a date with her childhood friend, Saki Saki. Just as he tries to get involved in this relationship, however, he receives an abrupt confession from Nagisa Minase.

At first, Naoya tries to reject her, but is soon overwhelmed by the feeling that she doesn't want to hurt her. Naoya tries to avoid betraying his girlfriend's trust in him and thinks of a "solution" to make them both happy: dating them both. Of course, Saki rejects the idea, but through the persistence of Naoya and Nagisa, she eventually accepts it. This begins a three-headed romance between Naoya, his girlfriend and his other girlfriend who already have a relationship that deviates from the social norm.
