With the end of Rebuild the Saga of Neon Genesis Evangelion it can actually be said that it’s over. It’s currently unknown if Hideaki Anno will return to the franchise sooner or later, but the well-known director doesn’t seem particularly happy with the idea of ββmaking another sequel after the tetralogy sapped his mental and physical energy.
In fact, to recover from the third Rebuild film, the Maestro had to take a break from the brand, so much so that it didn’t happen until 2021 Shin Eve it was released in Japanese theaters first and some time later Amazon Prime Video. Anno doesn’t stay with his hands in his pockets, however, and is currently wrestling with the final bars of Shin Ultraman, which is set to debut in May’s Rising Sun.
Fans hope to see the characters of the saga again sooner or later, perhaps considering the time interval separating the second film from the third. In this regard, recently the famous cosplayer Adamasha has created a great take on Misato, one of the most beloved characters in the entire franchise. The cosplay in question, which you can catch at the bottom of the news, has received a lot of excitement from the community thanks to its excellent fidelity to the original character.
