Luffy’s journey led him to meet many people, many of whom have become full members of his crew. The Straw Hat Pirates have slowly grown to ten members, ten actual protagonists of ONE PIECE. However, the entry of the eleventh Mugiwara has been debated for some time.
Initially, the clues pointed to Carrot and then veered sharply towards Yamato during the Onigashima phase. Kaido’s daughter now seems to be the eleventh papabile Mugiwara, considering the importance Oda gave her in the series and the space she was given versus the rabbit who helped the Whole Cake Island crew. But suppose Eiichiro Oda has other plans: what would happen to Yamato if he didn’t join Luffy’s crew?
Meanwhile, Wano is coming to an end and the decision is getting closer. Yamato is unlikely to remain on this island, which will remain in the hands of Momonosuke and his sister Hiyori, flanked by the Nine Red Scabbards who are left alive as advisors and daimyos. Kaido’s daughter would then set sail freely and get out of this prison island, build up his crew. The first to enter could be the abandoned Kaido soldiers, the Pleasures and Waiters, who had abandoned Kaido and Queen and are now loyal to Luffy and his companions.
In this way, Yamato was able to set sail on his own and with a crew already formed and launched that will discover the world. Obviously she would still be by Luffy’s side in the final war: it’s difficult, given the bond formed, the woman wouldn’t help the protagonist of ONE PIECE. Yamato would therefore be a member of the great Straw Hat Fleet, along with other pirates of the caliber of Bartholomew and many others.
