The beginning of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba introduced us to the brothers Kamado, Tanjiro and Nezuko, true protagonists of the story. Due to an ugly misfortune, Nezuko was turned into a demon by Kibutsuji Muzan, a millennial being who brings destruction and death everywhere. Like this Tanjiro was forced to become a demon hunter.
The story of Demon Slayer starts exactly like this with the boy who will train and take the exam to become a warrior of mankind in every way. At the exam, he will meet another boy who has risen to the challenge of becoming a hunter, with only one girl present at roll call, the Taciturn Kanao Tsuyuri. The Girl with the Butterfly Barrette will return later in the series, towards the end of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, and will reveal that he is the apprentice of the Kocho Shinobu Insect Pillar.
So far, Kanao Tsuyuri has often stayed out of the scene from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba but not for that the fans have put her aside. A Kanao Tsuyuri Cosplay puts the slayer back in the spotlight: Korean cosplayer Min masterfully portrayed the girl with purple eyes and black hair, reproducing her pose with a butterfly on her finger.
The protagonists are back with Demon Slayer 2 available on Crunchyroll, but for now the episodes focus on replicating the events of the movie The Mugen Train.
