Hideaki Anno has managed to resume the saga of Neon Genesis Evangelion, its flagship product released in the '90s and conquering fans around the world a few years after the end of the TV series and movies. He did this with a new project that he completely redesigned Evangelion saga.

And so the project was born Rebuilding Evangelion, consisting of four films. The cinematic tetralogy lasted a very long time considering how long the release of the various films has taken. The first, Evangelion: 1.0 You are (not) alone It was shown in Japan in 2007 and fairly faithfully recreates some of the situations narrated in the series. The last one was Evangelion: 3.0 + 1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, the last act wasn't released until 2021, 14 years after the first.

This brought the Hideaki Anno saga to a close for good, forcing the audience to embrace all characters, old and new. Obviously, many haven't given up and continue to offer various tributes to the series, like Yush Coser did with this one. Mari Makinami Famous Cosplay, one of the characters who made her debut in Rebuild of Evangelion and became a full-fledged protagonist. So here she is in her pink jumpsuit with the gigantic Eva behind her.
