Considering all the reruns on TV, surely the one that impresses fans the most is Bulma from Dragon Ball Z, especially the version seen in the Majin Buu saga. In addition, the presence of a newer series like Dragon Ball Super confirms a much more adult Bulma in the imagination.
As has happened with so many other Dragon Ball characters, Bulma wasn’t always like this but it’s grown a lot over the years considering Akira Toriyama has chosen to encompass a lot over time with over 30 years of storytelling. In fact, in the beginning, Bulma was nothing more than a girl who had complicated her life by embarking on a journey bigger than herself and only her meeting with Goku saved her from some dangers. At the same time, the boy was allowed to expand his knowledge and boundaries, which helped him become the hero we know today.
So let’s go back to that first episode of Dragon Ball with a Bulma cosplay in pink dress and blue hair braid made by Monsterpoh. While this does not remain the most famous version of the character, this is the Bulma from the beginning and therefore the one who helped Akira Toriyama’s epic saga take shape.
