It’s been several years since we saw the end of Light Yagami, one of the most complex characters created on Weekly Shonen Jump in the new millennium. Ohba and Obata have focused on this protagonist for make Death Note an international starthat still manages to find plenty of space in enthusiast’s readings.
In fact, Death Note is more than 14 years old now and yet it still survives, as does its official products – such as the new oneshots and volumes created in the recent past by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata – and the public displays of affection. There are quite a few cosplays on Light, Misa and all the others Characters in this thriller who live on photos uploaded to the web.
The cosplayer Sammys, who has already played the role of Misa Amane several times, has decided to do a Double cosplay of Light and Misa ready to kill. The photo below is very telling: Misa has active red eyes and the Death Note in her hands, while Light has a mischievous and cynical look and probably suggests what name to write in the deadly Shinigami notebook.
Behind it is a church organ, an element that adds even more Holiness for this Death Note themed cosplaywhich makes the figure of the duo almost divine.
