It was 2020 when CD Projekt Red officially released Cyberpunk 2077, the futuristic RPG he had been working on for several years, well before the conclusion of the first The Witcher trilogy. The fickle consensus has been busted lately thanks to better ones and the production of Cyberpunk Edgerunner.
Cyberpunk Edgerunners is one Netflix Original Animated Series set in CD Projekt Red's Cyberpunk 2077 universe, but with no direct connections to V's adventure. The series is therefore set in Night City and follows the story of another group of characters who never appeared in the video game, the Edgerunners, i.e. mercenaries who moving on the fringes of society, in this dystopian future where technology has reached extreme levels that Studio Trigger has wonderfully proposed to viewers.
The protagonist of the series is Lucy, a young netrunner of Japanese origin who is characterized by her ability to use weapons and technology. Lucyna Kushinada is a mysterious character who wants to move further and further away from Night City, a city where she feels imprisoned. However, this is exactly where Kerocchi, a cosplayer trying to best recreate Night City, decided to photograph her to create the perfect backdrop for her shot. Be Cosplay of Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners confirms the success of the intention, since the character has also been recreated really well, with all the typical clothes of this futuristic world.
