In 2021 it opened its doors to the public Fullmetal Alchemist Exhibit Returns, an exhibition dedicated to twenty years of Arakawa's work. One of the public's favorite illustrations depicted Ed and Al ready to unleash their powers. Today, that design has taken shape in an extraordinary collectible statue that will arrive sometime in 2024.
It was Square Enix itself, the publisher who owns the rights to the series, that brought the gorgeous character you can see in the images at the bottom of the page to the public. Edward and Alphonse Elric were played perfectlyrespects every little detail of their original design as well as the effects of their joint alchemical attacks.
The statue is built on a hexagonal base reminiscent of a solid metal structure on which is also placed a small alchemical symbol Approx. 60 cm tall and in 1/4 scale. The effects of alchemy can be enhanced by activating the LEDs included in the pack, and to indicate them there is also a special commemorative logo dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the series. In addition, it will be possible to change the positions of the hands of the two protagonists and Edward's face thanks to the addition of spare parts.
An incredible collector's item slated for release in April 2024, already available to book at Price of $2600. Finally here is a double cosplay dedicated to the two alchemist brothers and we remind you that in spring 2023 the Fullmetal Alchemist themed cafes will return to Japan.
